Term And Conditions

 Welcome to Ellie’s Wedding Accessories (“Ellie’s Wedding Accessories” “Ellie Sanderson” “It’s” “We” “Our” “Us” “The Seller”). Purchases made from us will be done so either via www.elliesweddingaccessories.co.uk (“The Site”) or in person at our stores. 

Any person making a purchase from the Site will be asked to confirm they agree to our terms and conditions. By Ticking this confirmation “YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ  AND UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS  PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT”

General Conditions

Purchases from us are limited to those who can lawfully enter into and form contracts under the Laws of England and Wales.

Only customers ordering who agree to our Terms and Conditions (“Participants” “Buyer” “You” “Your” as the context requires) when purchasing items may participate in buying from us.

Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when purchasing.  You can update us with changes to your details via e-mail or phone.  We reserve the right to refuse custom or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

General Product Information

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. 

An order with us will not be valid until we set the status to ‘processing’ and you are notified via e-mail of this.  In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you as soon as possible of this via e-mail.

All items for sale are shown as true to the finished product as possible. However, some of our items are handmade so slight variations may apply.

Ready to Wear – Describes any ’standard’ item which is purchased from the site as described and standard in dimension and sold as per the product description without an option to change.  Shoe sizes are not classed as a variation.

Bespoke/Make It Your Own (MIYO) – Bespoke/MIYO is any item in which a change is made in bead type, bead colour, band wrap or dimensions of the product and includes items where this is available through a drop down menu. Any Bespoke/MIYO item purchased will be the commissioning of a service and as such subject to return conditions as stated within Returns and Refunds section and are made to order.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Your relationship with us is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales

Events Beyond Our ControlWe will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to any statutory changes or rulings by any act or customs authority affecting the customs duty payable by you.

Electronic Communications

When you transact with us via the Site or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you directly by e-mail or by posting notices on the www.elliesweddingaccessories.co.uk website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery and postage charges

We will make every effort to dispatch items as soon as possible following full payment being made. 

 

Please note that delivery estimates shown below are just that. They should not be relied upon as guaranteed delivery times.  If you’re at all worried about delivery timescales, please contact us.  Whatever the case we make it our priority to get your items to you quickly.

Some of our products are handmade to order and at times of high demand dispatch timescales can be anything up to 4 weeks to take into account demand and ordering of specific materials to make your item perfect for you.  You will always be updated via e-mail if there is likely to be a delay.

UK Mainland

Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery - Please allow up to 5-7 working days for delivery.


·         Orders under £50 - £3.00

·         Orders between £50 and £100 - £4.50

·         Orders over £100 (UK only) - Free

 

Certain items will be eligible for dispatch by Royal Mail Special Delivery, however in order to arrange this you will need to contact us to make the necessary arrangements. Orders will need to be processed before 4pm and will be subject to £6.75 postage charge. We make no promise to deliver any item by Special Delivery unless specific agreement is made between you and us.

Delivery within the EU

 Airmail - Please allow 5-7 working days for delivery 

·         £9.95 for all orders under £100

·         £12.50 for all orders over £100 and under £299

·         Orders over £300 are free delivery

 

International Deliveries

Airmail - Please allow 10-15 working days for delivery 

 

·         Orders up to £100- £9.95

·         Orders from £100.00- £199.99- £14.95

·         Orders from £200.00- £350.00- £19.95

·         Orders over £350, please contact us for a quote 

You are also more than welcome to collect items from either of our stores but please contact us in advance as we do not keep stock of all items at both stores.

Payment Information

No order will be dispatched or released until payment is completed.

Where any Bespoke/MIYO item has been ordered no specialised components will be ordered or production begun before payment is completed.

Payment will be accepted either by cash (in store only) or by credit card through the online payment facility.

Returns and Refunds

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your products, please contact us within 2 days of receipt for a Returns Reference number.  Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt using our returns form. 

Please note that no refunds will be given after your wedding/prom date.

Refunds will not be given for used goods, or goods returned after your wedding. We reserve the right to refuse any items if we suspect that our returns policy is being abused.

In the unlikely event that your item is received damaged, please contact us immediately so we can arrange return and replacement.

Ready to Wear Items

Ellie’s Wedding Accessories are compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000 which provides a 7 working day no quibble guarantee (minus postage) on items for any items deemed as 'Ready to wear'. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ITEMS PERSONALISED TO CONSUMER SPECIFICATION (pursuant to Regulation 13(c) of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000.

Bespoke/MIYO Items

These items are all made to order as described above and by agreeing to purchase these items you are commissioning a service.  Return of any Bespoke/MIYO item will be subject to an offer a full refund less 50% for labour costs and also less any postage and packing costs on goods returned in original condition within 7 days. We will not be able to accept any returns after the 7 day period. 

Earrings

Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept return of earrings once dispatched or taken from point of sale. If they are contained in a set, then the set cannot be returned. 

Shoes

We do not offer a ‘buy to try’ service on shoes and therefore reserve the right to refuse orders for multiple styles if we feel this is being abused.

 

We cannot accept the return of shoes which show signs or wear or any other marks. 

We advise wearing a pop sock when trying on shoes to avoid marking. 

Returning items

Goods must be returned to us at your own expense and you should ensure they are packaged adequately to protect against damage. We cannot refund any postage costs and ask that you recycle the original postage bag to return the item to us.

 

We advise you to use Recorded Delivery so that should the items go astray you are able to make a claim with Royal Mail and ensure that the item is insured up to the value of £39.

If the item you are returning is valued at more than £39, we recommend you use Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure the item is insured appropriately. 

It is your responsibility to pursue any loss once the item has entered the postal system directly with Royal Mail.  Sorry but we cannot do this for you.  If you choose to return the item by any other method then risk of damage or loss lies solely with you

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration then we reserve the right to charge you for the reduction in value.  .

The postage fee will be refunded on return should the item be faulty or sent as a result of our error.

All returns will be refunded within 10 days of receipt of the goods and payment will be made either via original payment method.

Privacy Policy

Ellie’s Wedding Accessories do not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. We will keep your details if you register for further information on parties or sale events. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your basket once you have selected an item.
